Horst Brandstätter, head of Geobra company:
Playmobil has its production site in the Ansbach area, because of the close distance to the headquarters in Zirndorf and to the conurbation of Nuremberg–Fürth-Erlangen and the availability of industrial sites at reasonable prices is perfect.

Mr. Lechner and Mr. Niedermeier (Pan-plast):
our site in the Ansbach area is perfect, because here we find best conditions for our development and the infrastructure is very good.

Example of a successfull settlement:
In 2000 Richard Fritz GmbH has chosen the Ansbach area as site for its modern production plant. For the automobile industry extruded sealings for window glasses are made with PU-RIM technology. The competence in plastic in the Ansbach region and the central location to all major automobile manufacturers in Southern Germany had a essential effect on this choice of site. Another positive locational advantage was the fast licensing procedure and the availability of attractive industrial sites in vicinity of the Motorway A 6 at reasonable prices.
